VARIETY GRAPES: Catarratto 80%, Chardonnay 20%

DENOMINATION: Terre Siciliane IGP

STYLE: Dry  

PRODUCTION ZONE: south-west Sicily, Salaparuta estate 
CELLARING: Enjoy now until 2028 

VINEYARD: Deep alluvial clay soil, with good content of limestone.

West-facing gentle slopes. Altitude 350 m a.m.s.l.; Hilly orography.

VINTAGE: 2022 was a warm, dry summer which led to a very consistent vintage. Harvest kicked off a little earlier than average.

WINEMAKING: The fruit is individually handpicked and whole bunch pressed to ensure purity and concentration of flavors. Fermentation occurs in stainless-steel tanks. Once vinification is finished, the two wines are blended and aged in small stainless-steel vats for 3 months before being bottled.

APPEARANCE: Pale straw yellow

TASTING NOTES: The nose presents fresh aromas of lemon zest, wild oranges, citrus blossoms and mineral overtones thanks to Salaparuta soil. On the palate, a dry, medium-bodied white wine with a vibrant acidity and a persistent finish.
